KEEPING IT CLASSIC

A lot can be said about sticking with the classics. Classics have lasting power; they don’t ever go out of style because they are never trendy to begin with. They are the staples that you can build a trendy wardrobe around.

Take the Coach Dinky bag for example. This 1970’s classic is a minimalist’s answer to the big statement bags that are so popular these days. This understated bag is sleek and simple, giving you enough room to put your necessary evils in (phone, wallet, lipstick, pocket rocket) but forces you to declutter and pare down as well. Say goodbye to all of that unwanted shit you’ve been lugging around in your giant saddle bag for years, and with it the extreme shoulder pain you’ve acquired. This bag has been a hot seller for almost 60 years now, so with lasting power like that you know it’s going to be relevant for another 60.

And don’t shy away from pairing a ton of classics together in the same outfit for fear of looking boring. Have fun with modern silhouettes like gaucho pants in a timeless wool, or take a classic pattern like leopard print but go overboard with a giant coat. Don’t forget your French inspired beret hat, and if you are extra cheeky a skinny cig. If anyone knows how to keep it classic its the French. And then as usual bring the whole look into the modern era with fun accessories!

Classics are just that for a reason, they don’t disappoint, so stock up on a few and have fun!
